Welcome, Swayzee Public Library patrons- and anyone else reading this! Please go into this knowing that I’ve never done a blog before. I’ll get the hang of it as time goes on.
Have you visited our little library? If not, let me introduce us. We serve the town of Swayzee, Sims Township, and several non-residents who see the benefits in our small library. We are part of the Evergreen Consortium, allowing patrons to pull books and other media that are not in our collection and picking them up in Swayzee once they are delivered through Info Express. We offer Hoopla and Libby online services as well. So, what patrons find is that we have much more than what is housed physically in our location.
We host several activities including teen and adult book clubs, a Lego club, a crochet group, a Pre-K reading group, and a card club. We are always thinking about other possible activities to serve the community. Maybe that’s what you can help me with today. What else would you like to see Swayzee Public Library offer?
Comment with your ideas and/or share what makes Swayzee Public Library a staple of our community.
